Western Digital's new CEO will lead the company to focus on HDD field

After the spin-off, Western Digital will be led by new CEO Irving Tan, who will focus on the HDD field and continue to delve into innovative areas such as energy-assisted perpendicular magnetic recording (ePMR) and heat-assisted magnetic recording (HAMR) to meet the needs of hyperscale data centers, cloud services and AI data storage.
