BMW and Toyota officially reach cooperation on hydrogen fuel cell system

BMW announced that it has officially reached a cooperation with Toyota, and the first model equipped with the hydrogen fuel cell system jointly developed by the two parties will be mass-produced in 2028. Michael Rath, vice president of hydrogen energy battery vehicles of BMW Group, said that the first step of the cooperation between the two parties is to focus on the field of hydrogen fuel cells, and the hydrogen tanks will be independently developed by BMW.
