Canoo, an American electric car manufacturer, has officially filed for bankruptcy with the Delaware Bankruptcy Court due to financial difficulties. The company plans to cease all operational activities, and a trustee appointed by the bankruptcy court will be responsible for the liquidation of its assets and the distribution of proceeds to creditors. Since its establishment in 2017, Canoo has been committed to developing and selling electric vehicles based on its unique skateboard chassis technology. However, due to funding shortages and management problems, the company has experienced large-scale layoffs and factory closures in the past few months. Although Canoo has tried to raise funds by cooperating with large automakers and going public, these efforts have not succeeded in preventing the company's financial deterioration.
