Qualcomm considers buying parts of Intel

Qualcomm is reportedly exploring the possibility of acquiring a stake in Intel. It is reported that the company is seeking to acquire Intel's design business to enrich its product portfolio. Qualcomm has shown a strong interest in Intel's client PC design business, but is also looking at all of the company's design divisions. As for Intel's server business, Qualcomm believes that its acquisition value is not great. Intel said that Qualcomm has not yet contacted it and declined to comment on its plans.
