On August 28, Samsung revealed that its automotive memory LPDDR4X has been certified and will be integrated into Qualcomm's high-end automotive platform "Snapdragon Digital Chassis" solution, and has begun full product supply. Samsung's LPDDR4X memory is designed to guarantee stable performance in extreme environments, ranging from -40°C to 105°C, and meets the strict AEC-Q100 automotive semiconductor quality standards. The company provides up to 32GB of LPDDR4X for high-end in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems, ensuring strong and reliable performance. According to market data, Samsung's share of the global automotive memory market is 32%, second only to Micron's 44%. This year, Samsung plans to mass-produce the next-generation LPDDR5 and will supply it to Qualcomm's next-generation Snapdragon digital chassis. This move is expected to further enhance Samsung's competitive advantage in the market and challenge Micron's dominance.
