Kia's Yancheng plant becomes a global export base, expanding global markets

Jiangsu Yueda announced that it would build the Yancheng plant into a global export base to expand the export business of complete vehicles and CKD. The EV5, developed based on Kia's dedicated E-GMP platform for electric vehicles, is seen as the first heavyweight strategic model to be launched in China, produced in China's smart manufacturing factory and sold globally.
