GAC Group's sales volume fell in August, with new energy vehicle sales weak

According to the sales data for August released by GAC Group on September 6, the group sold 148,200 vehicles that month, a year-on-year decrease of 24.69%. Among them, the sales of new energy vehicles were 37,600 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 24.14%. This is the eighth consecutive month of sales decline for GAC Group since 2024. As of the end of August, in the first eight months of this year, GAC Group's cumulative sales were 1.1524 million vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 25.68%, of which the sales of new energy vehicles were 235,500 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 29.88%.
