Lantu, a domestic new energy vehicle company, has started the technical iteration of the third-generation solid-state battery. The new generation of power battery system will maintain an energy density of 300Wh/kg, while the charging rate will be increased to 3~5C, achieving extremely wide temperature range operation. Lantu Automobile is one of the earliest domestic car companies to deploy solid-state battery technology. Its first-generation semi-solid-state batteries have been mass-applied in Dreamer and Light Chasing pure electric models, and the battery cell energy density can reach 230Wh/kg. In 2024, Lantu Automobile carried out vehicle installation verification of the second-generation semi-solid-state battery. The Lantu Light Chasing pure electric vehicle equipped with the second-generation battery can reach a range of 1,000 kilometers, and can achieve a range of 250 kilometers after charging for 10 minutes. In terms of safety, the battery cell can be squeezed to 90% without catching fire or exploding.
