Mona Energy Storage's 2 billion sodium power project has been approved

The sodium-ion battery materials, cells and energy storage equipment project of Mona Energy Storage (Baotou) Technology Co., Ltd. has been approved. The project is expected to invest about 2 billion yuan, including the construction of a sodium-ion battery cell production line with an annual output of 1GWh, twelve sodium-ion battery energy storage equipment production lines with an annual output of 12GWh, and four sodium-ion battery positive electrode material production lines with an annual output of 20,000 tons.
