Toyota plans to slow electric vehicle production

Toyota Motor plans to significantly slow production of electric vehicles, lowering its global production forecast to 1 million vehicles in 2026, about 30% lower than its previous sales forecast, but will produce just over 400,000 electric vehicles in 2025 and more than double production the following year.
