Mobileye pauses development of new lidar technology

Mobileye, a leading autonomous driving technology company, recently announced that it will stop developing a sensor technology used to detect objects and their distance. Although this decision will not affect any customer product plans or overall product development, it is expected that about 100 employees working on light detection and ranging (lidar) research and development will be affected.
