Chongqing Qingshan high-power electric drive project successfully rolled off the production line

Chongqing Qingshan Industry's new Blue Whale high-power electric drive EDS3-AA project has been successfully put into mass production. The project was launched in July 2023 and passed the LS node in just 12 months. This 200kW electric drive system has "three super" characteristics: ultra-high efficiency, 1% higher than the industry standard; super power, 43% higher than the power of the same platform; super quiet, more than 3dB higher than the industry level. In addition, the project has achieved many firsts, including breakthroughs in AUTOSAR software architecture development, realization of functional safety C-level product development, development of neural network temperature calculation models, and realization of in-depth joint development of the Changqing team in pure electric drives. This electric drive system is suitable for the mainstream B-class, C-class models and hard-core off-road models in the market, and can meet the front and rear drive requirements of pure electric or extended-range models.
