X-FAB Production Base

X-FAB is located in Kuching, the capital of Sarawak, Malaysia. It is the largest factory of X-FAB Group and currently has more than 1,400 employees. It has six wafer manufacturing bases in Germany (3), France (1), Malaysia (1) and the United States (1), with a total capacity of approximately 100,000 200 mm equivalent wafers per month. The Erfurt plant in Germany mainly produces modular 1.0µm, 0.8µm and 0.6µm CMOS mixed signal processes (analog, high voltage, EEPROM, EPROM, RF and linear), with a monthly production capacity of 12,000 8-inch equivalent wafers; Dresden, Germany mainly carries out 350nm ultra-high voltage CMOS process (XU035), 350nm analog/mixed signal CMOS process (XH035), 0.6µm analog/mixed signal CMOS process, etc., and can produce 8,000 8-inch equivalent wafers per month; Itzehoe, Germany mainly produces physical sensors, MOEMS, RF-MEMS, wafer-level packaging, etc.
