Chery Dazhuo Intelligent lays off employees to focus on L4 Robotaxi business

Dazhuo Intelligent, an intelligent driving company under Chery Group, is undergoing a round of layoffs, mainly involving the Robotaxi department and testers. Dazhuo Intelligent plans to bring some of its business and R&D back to Chery headquarters. Dazhuo Intelligent obtained the first public road test license for intelligent connected vehicles in Wuhu City in June 2023, with a mileage of more than 10,000 kilometers.
