Archimedes Semiconductor received 300 million yuan in angel round financing

Archimedes Semiconductor (Hefei) Co., Ltd. has completed an angel round of financing of 300 million yuan, led by the Anhui Artificial Intelligence Fund managed by the Industrial Investment Company under Hefei Industrial Investment Group, and jointly invested by provincial, municipal and district government investment platforms, as well as Chuanggu Capital, Hefei Industrial Investment, and Hefei High-tech Investment. Joint investors also include Saiwei Microelectronics, Shengbang Shares, Zhongyu Gas and other listed companies and their founders and well-known semiconductor investors. Archimedes Semiconductor was established in Hefei High-tech Zone in June 2021. It is mainly engaged in the research and development, production and sales of power semiconductor devices and modules, covering the packaging and testing of discrete devices and power modules, chip design and manufacturing. The main application areas include photovoltaic inverters, new energy vehicles, industrial control, etc.
