An internal employee of SAIC Group said that in the past few years, SAIC's self-research has not achieved significant results, and it has been unable to handle urban intelligent driving, and can only barely complete high-speed intelligent driving. One of the reasons is that SAIC has invested little in intelligent driving, with only a team of less than 1,000 people, and it is scattered. ZeroBundle Technology was established in 2021 and is a software company that SAIC Group has invested heavily in. Its intelligent driving team has about 300 people, and the total number of employees in the company exceeds 1,500. At the end of 2024, Jia Jianxu, the new president of SAIC Group, took the lead in establishing the SAIC large passenger car segment, which included ZeroBundle Technology.
