Chery New Energy sales surged 187%, hybrid technology builds competitive advantage

Chery Group sold 1,508,259 vehicles in total from January to August, up 41.9% year-on-year, of which 272,847 were new energy vehicles, up 187% year-on-year. This is due to its product development strategy of "oil-electric synergy, advantage integration" and its technological innovation in the field of hybrid vehicles. Chery's self-developed Kunpeng Super Hybrid C-DM system is the main model in the hybrid market. Its four major brands, Chery Fengyun, Xingtu Xingjiyuan, Jietu Shanhai and iCAR, have formed their own competitive advantages for different market segments.
