ROHM and UAES Sign Long-term SiC Power Component Supply Agreement

Global semiconductor giant Rohm has signed a long-term SiC power component supply agreement with Chinese automotive supplier United Automotive Electronics. Since the beginning of technical exchanges in 2015, the two parties have established a cooperative relationship in the development of SiC power components for automotive applications. In 2020, they established a joint SiC technology laboratory in Shanghai to strengthen their cooperation. In 2021, Rohm's power solutions were highly praised by UAES and became its preferred supplier. Now, they are accelerating the development of advanced inverter modules equipped with Rohm SiC chips to meet growing demand.
