Tianyu Semiconductor's latest valuation is close to 13 billion

In April 2022, Tianyu Semiconductor's 8-inch silicon carbide epitaxial wafer project landed in Dongguan; in August of the same year, Coherent announced that it had signed a $100 million order with Tianyu Semiconductor to supply the latter with 6-inch silicon carbide substrates, which will be delivered from the current quarter to the end of 2023. Tianyu Semiconductor has an annual production capacity of 120,000 4-6 inch silicon carbide epitaxial wafers. It is the first manufacturer in China to achieve mass production of 4-6 inch silicon carbide epitaxial wafers, with an annual output value of 1 billion yuan. According to informed investors, Tianyu Semiconductor's latest valuation is close to 13 billion, which can be called a super unicorn.
