First recall of MINI Cooper and MINI Aceman models by Beam Auto

165
For the first time, Beam Automotive Co., Ltd. has recalled its MINI COOPER and MINI ACEMAN models. A total of 5,552 domestically produced MINI COOPER vehicles were produced from June 1, 2024 to August 30, 2024; a total of 2,682 domestically produced MINI ACEMAN vehicles were produced from June 24, 2024 to August 30, 2024. The reason for the recall is the same as that for BMW vehicles. It is also due to interference with the electrical signal of the motor position sensor of the integrated brake booster (DSCi), which may cause the DSCi to be unable to provide auxiliary braking, affecting the anti-lock braking system (ABS) and dynamic stability control system (DSC) functions, posing a safety hazard.
