Japan's Murata Manufacturing plans to acquire over 100 billion yen

Japan's Murata Manufacturing Co., the world's largest capacitor maker, is considering more than 100 billion yen in mergers and acquisitions to boost growth. The goal is to complete them during the mid-term plan period ending in fiscal 2027. Murata's components appear in almost all electronic products, from smartphones from Apple Inc. and Samsung Electronics Co. to servers from Nvidia Corp. and game consoles from Sony Group.
