Livox Technology Co., Ltd. (Livox) is an independent company based on DJI's internal incubation mechanism, dedicated to the development of 3D LiDAR technology. Founded in 2016, Livox is determined to break through the current technical barriers in the LiDAR industry. By producing high-quality, reliable and cost-effective LiDAR sensors, it lowers the threshold for mass production, allowing this technology to be widely used in the automotive industry and smart cities, surveying and mapping, mobile robots and other fields, and meet the needs of different environments. In the past few years, Livox has applied for more than 587 patents for its unique sensor design and rotating mirror hybrid solid-state LiDAR technology. Since the launch of the Mid series in January 2019, Livox has served more than 1,500 customers, and its products have been sold to 26 countries and regions including the United States, Canada, China, Japan and the European Union.
