EU Commission rejects Chinese electric car maker's proposal for minimum import prices

191
According to reports, on September 12, the European Commission announced that it had received minimum import price proposals from Chinese electric vehicle manufacturers, which was a way for them to try to circumvent import tariffs. However, the European Commission did not accept these proposals. Currently, the European Commission is conducting an anti-subsidy investigation on electric vehicles made in China. Some Chinese electric vehicle exporters have made minimum price commitments, that is, exporting cars to the EU at the lowest price to offset the subsidies received domestically.
