General Motors adjusts its LiDAR plan, and Hesai Technology becomes SAIC-GM's new partner

General Motors announced in early 2024 that its Ultra Cruise platform will focus on the gradual improvement of the Super Cruise system, thus adjusting its original plan to install LiDAR on vehicles. Subsequently, Hesai Technology announced that it had reached a designated cooperation with SAIC-GM and would provide AT series automotive-grade long-range LiDAR for SAIC-GM's future models.
