It is reported that Xiaopeng Motors is planning to produce extended-range vehicles and expects to achieve mass production in the second half of 2025. The selection of core components has been completed in the first half of the year. The first product is a large plug-in hybrid SUV, internally codenamed G01, with a target price of more than 200,000 yuan. This model will be produced at Xiaopeng Motors' second Huangpu plant in Guangzhou. The supplier of the range extender is Dong'an Power, which has also provided range extender components to Ideal Auto before. At present, Xiaopeng Motors has not responded to this news.
