Polestar Technology faces massive layoffs just one year after its establishment

According to reports, Polestar Technology was established in June 2023. It was originally jointly established by Polestar Automobile and Geely's StarJi Meizu. Its main task is to strengthen Polestar's localized operation capabilities in China. At that time, about 200 people transferred from Polestar China to Polestar Technology, including first-level business departments such as sales, marketing, and after-sales. Polestar China only retained basic functions such as global procurement, R&D, and HR.
