India announces it will soon launch its first domestically produced chip

Ashwini Vaishnao, India's Minister of Railways, Communications, and Electronics and Information Technology, recently said that India will launch its first domestically produced chip this year. This progress marks a major breakthrough in India's semiconductor manufacturing. At the closing ceremony of the Global Investor Summit, Vaishnao emphasized that in order to maintain the continued development of this field, the government has launched a training program for 85,000 engineers.
