Since the second anniversary of the implementation of the CHIPS Act, the U.S. Department of Commerce has reached preliminary agreements with 15 companies, promising a total subsidy of more than $30 billion. In addition, according to SIA data, since the CHIPS Act was first introduced in 2020, semiconductor giants have successively launched more than 80 new projects in 25 states across the United States, with a total private investment of nearly $450 billion.
