The State Administration for Market Regulation conducts antitrust investigations on five auto brands

The State Administration for Market Regulation released the "First Batch of Typical Cases of the 2024 Anti-monopoly Law Enforcement Special Action in the Livelihood Field", which included five brands, including Jaguar Land Rover (China) Investment Co., Ltd., Audi (China) Enterprise Management Co., Ltd., Volkswagen (China) Investment Co., Ltd., BMW (China) Automobile Trading Co., Ltd. and Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. These brands are suspected of violating the Anti-monopoly Law by imposing unreasonable restrictions on downstream dealers.
