Guangzhou promotes the development of autonomous driving, plans to increase the proportion of L3 and above new cars to more than 20% by 2027

The Guangzhou Municipal Government is soliciting public opinions and plans to issue the "Opinions on Promoting the Accelerated Development of the Automobile Industry" with the goal of building a "Smart Car City". It is expected that by 2027, the proportion of new cars at or above L3 will exceed 20%. At the same time, it plans to put 10,000 autonomous driving vehicles into use and provide high subsidies for R&D, production, and operations.
