The number of public charging piles in China has increased by 540,000 per year

According to Cui Dongshu, secretary general of the China Passenger Car Association, as of August this year, the total number of public charging piles in China has reached 3.26 million. In August, the number of public charging piles increased by 53,600 from the previous month, but the growth rate was lower than the 12% in the same period last year. In 2024, the annual cumulative increase in public charging piles will reach 540,000, a year-on-year increase of 13%.
