Intel and AWS collaborate on AI computing chips

Intel Corporation and Amazon Web Services AWS signed a cooperation agreement to jointly develop customized semiconductors for artificial intelligence (AI) computing, called Fabric chips. The cooperation is based on Intel's 18A process, an advanced chip manufacturing technology. After the news was released, Intel's stock price rose by more than 8% in late trading.
