Beijing Benz announces recall of 8,622 domestically produced C-class cars

Beijing Benz Automotive Co., Ltd. will recall 8,622 domestically produced C-class vehicles produced between September 5, 2023 and November 11, 2023, starting from October 25, 2024. The recall is due to manufacturing deviations in the rear beam towing ring connection bushings of some vehicles, which may cause the towing ring to be unable to be fully screwed into the rear beam towing ring connection hole. When using the rear towing device for towing operations, the connection may become loose, posing a safety hazard.
