Guangzhou semiconductor unicorn adds new member

Guangdong Xinyueneng Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Xinyueneng) recently announced the completion of a round A financing of approximately RMB 1 billion, led by Guangdong Integrated Circuit Fund Phase II managed by Guangdong Finance Fund and Guotou Venture Capital Fund. The success of this financing has added a new member to the Guangzhou semiconductor unicorn family. Founded in 2021, Xinyueneng is the largest company in China that focuses on the manufacture of automotive-grade silicon carbide chips. Its products are widely used in new energy vehicles, industrial power supplies, smart grids, photovoltaic power generation and other fields.
