UK battery manufacturer Volklec signs exclusive licensing agreement with Far East Batteries

British battery manufacturer Volklec has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with Asian battery company Far East Battery (FEB) to start producing advanced lithium-ion batteries in the UK. Volklec plans to produce two specifications of 21700 cylindrical lithium-ion batteries at the UK Battery Industrialization Center (UKBIC), including an NMC chemical energy battery for electric mobility and energy storage, and a high-performance power battery for high-value manufacturing.
