Audi considers stopping production of flagship electric model, closing Brussels plant

Audi is considering stopping production of its flagship models, the Q8 e-tron and Q8 e-tron sportback, ahead of schedule, and may close its plant in Brussels due to a sharp drop in demand for high-end electric vehicles. The plant is Audi's first dedicated electric vehicle production plant and is currently producing the Q8 e-tron, which is about to enter the last two to three years of its life cycle.
