Li Xiang, CEO of Ideal Auto, on end-to-end autonomous driving technology

Li Xiang, Chairman and CEO of Ideal Auto, recently pointed out that although end-to-end autonomous driving technology has its advantages, it can only solve the problem of L3 (Level Assisted Driving) and cannot achieve L4 (Level Autonomous Driving). He believes that although the lower limit capability of the end-to-end model is expected to increase rapidly in 2025, it will take some time to reach capabilities beyond L4.
