Google plans internal reorganization and layoffs

Google recently announced that it plans to lay off employees in its "People Operations" and cloud organizations in order to optimize its internal structure. Fiona Cicconi, head of human resources, pointed out in a memo that Google will offer a voluntary exit program to full-time employees in the United States starting in early March. The layoffs are mainly aimed at mid- and senior-level employees. In addition, Google also plans to cut several teams within the cloud department, mainly affecting operational support staff.
