General Motors announced that starting September 18, its electric vehicles will be able to use Tesla's Supercharger network for the first time. This marks an important step in the cooperation between GM and Tesla in the field of electric vehicles. Through this cooperation, GM electric vehicle users will be able to charge at 17,800 Tesla Supercharger stations in North America. To achieve this goal, GM's electric vehicles need to use an adapter to connect Tesla's J3400 (formerly NACS) plug to the CCS1 charging port. This adapter can be purchased separately for $225. Drivers can find the location of the Supercharger through a smartphone application and pay for the charging fee.
