Toyota Motor and NTT jointly invest $3.3 billion to develop AI system software

According to the latest news, Toyota Motor Corporation and Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT) plan to jointly invest about 500 billion yen (about 3.3 billion US dollars) to develop artificial intelligence (AI) system software with the goal of improving the level of autonomous driving technology. The system will use AI technology to predict accidents and control vehicles. The two companies hope to complete the development of the system by 2028 and provide it to other automakers.
