Volkswagen suspends ID.4 production in the US

Volkswagen has issued a stop-sale order for its ID.4 electric compact crossover in the United States and will suspend production of the model at its Chattanooga plant to find a solution to the model's door handle failure. Previously, Volkswagen announced a recall of 98,806 ID.4 vehicles in the United States due to door handle defects.
