AMD is accelerating its AI chip development to meet competitive pressure from Nvidia. AMD Chairman and CEO Dr. Lisa Su said the company is developing high-performance AI chips to challenge Nvidia's leadership in the field. "We have accelerated the pace of our AI roadmap, launching new products every year. This is an AI super cycle," Su told Yahoo Finance at the Goldman Sachs Communications and Technology Conference earlier. Later this year, AMD will showcase its MI325 AI chip, followed by the MI350 next year and the MI400 in 2026.
