According to the Automotive New Productivity Development Forum held in Chongqing on September 20, Chongqing plans to produce more than 1 million smart connected new energy vehicles by 2024. Wang Zhijie, secretary of the party group and director of the Chongqing Municipal Economic and Information Commission, said that Chongqing is working hard to build a "33618" modern manufacturing cluster system, with the goal of achieving a total industrial output value of 4 trillion yuan in the city by 2027. As one of the three trillion-level leading industrial clusters that Chongqing's "33618" modern manufacturing cluster system focuses on building, smart connected new energy vehicles are the core force for Chongqing to build a "manufacturing powerhouse".
