CIDI (Changsha Intelligent Driving Research Institute) was founded in October 2017 by Professor Li Zexiang, a famous entrepreneurial mentor of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. It is a commercial vehicle autonomous driving unicorn enterprise. As the earliest autonomous driving company in the industry to deploy vehicle-road collaboration, the company's products cover "smart cars" and "smart roads". With the technology of autonomous driving heavy trucks, it creates unmanned pure electric mining trucks and unmanned park logistics vehicles, and implements unmanned transportation scenarios; with a full range of vehicle-road collaboration products of "car, road, cloud", it provides multi-type intelligent network solutions for the Internet of Vehicles pilot area, dual-smart cities, and highways.
