TuSimple was founded in September 2015 and is headquartered in San Diego, USA, with R&D centers in Beijing and San Diego. TuSimple is a driverless truck brand. Its original intention was to empower the global logistics and transportation industry with L4 level (SAE standard) driverless truck technology. In April 2021, the company officially landed on the Nasdaq and was listed. As of December 2021, TuSimple's major logistics customers include UPS, McLane, U.S. Xpress, Werner, Schneider, Ryder, DHL, Union Pacific and CN.
