June 2016, Prototype car: Designed a prototype car equipped with perception technology, which completed the module functions required for unmanned driving and assisted driving through the camera installed on the car. May 2017, Autonomous driving truck solution: Exhibited autonomous driving truck solution based on computer vision and millimeter wave radar, and began to develop night driving perception solution. January 2018, L4 level unmanned driving prototype truck: For the first time, TuSimple and Peterbilt jointly exhibited the L4 level unmanned driving prototype truck, which was modified from the 579 long-head tractor provided by truck manufacturer Peterbilt. January 2019, L4 level unmanned driving truck: For the first time, it brought to the outside world its unmanned truck modified from Navistar International light semi-trailer truck.
