With the rise of DeepSeek, major manufacturers no longer insist on "closed source" but choose to open it to the public for free. For example, on January 31, 2025, OpenAI launched a new inference model o3-mini and opened its search function to all users. On February 13, Baidu announced that its Wenxin Yiyan will be fully open for free use from April 1, and then announced that the Wenxin Da Model 4.5 series will be officially open source on June 30.
