Introduction to Baidu Apollo

Baidu is one of the earliest companies in the field of autonomous driving in China. In 2014, the Silicon Valley branch of Baidu Research Institute was established. In 2015, Baidu began to invest heavily in the research and development of driverless car technology. Baidu can be said to be the originator of China's autonomous driving. Many companies in the industry chain were founded by talents from Baidu, so Baidu is also known as the "Huangpu Military Academy" in the field of autonomous driving. The company currently has three major businesses, including L4 autonomous driving business, smart transportation and assisted driving business.
