In December 2016, AutoX raised US$9 million in its angel round, with a valuation of US$50 million. Investors included Danhua Capital and Zhen Fund. In October 2017, it raised US$34 million in its Pre-A round, with a valuation of US$100 million. Investors included SAIC Group, Capital Today, and MediaTek. In September 2019, it raised US$100 million in its A round, with a valuation of US$500 million. Investors included Dongfeng Motor, Alibaba's Entrepreneurs Fund, the well-known Silicon Valley incubator Plug and Play China Fund, and Hong Kong HKSTP Technology Development Fund. In December 2019, it raised tens of millions of dollars in its Pre-B round, with a valuation of US$800 million. Investors included Shenzhen Qianhai Hongzhao Fund and Chaoshan Capital. In 2021, it raised US$400 million in its B round, with a valuation of US$1.6 billion. In 2022, it raised tens of millions of dollars in its C round, with a valuation of US$2 billion.
