Jaguar Land Rover recently announced plans to invest 500 million pounds to transform its Halewood plant into a major production base for future electric vehicles. The plant, which was built in 1963 and used to produce Ford Anglia, is now undergoing a comprehensive transformation to adapt to the advent of the electric age. Currently, 250 million pounds have been invested in construction work, equipped with many advanced technologies, such as new electric vehicle production lines, 750 autonomous robots, etc., and is known as the "factory of the future."
